Dear Friends in Christ,
I must tell you that in this time of social distancing, each Sunday morning has been one of the most meaningful times I’ve ever spent. From 9:30-11:00 a.m. I am in the sanctuary praying for each and every one of you by name. I hope you know that I pray all the time, but to say out loud, each name, is truly uplifting for me. We cannot be together physically these days, but we are certainly still connected! I will be praying in this manner each Sunday morning as long as this situation lasts.
Please continue to pray for one another. Reach out to everyone; especially those who may find these days particularly difficult, frightening or lonely. We still worship! I will continue to make and email/post video messages on our Facebook page, website and You Tube. This coming Sunday is Palm Sunday; we remember Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem the week before he was put on the cross. Sometime in your devotions this week, be sure to read the story from Mark 11: 1-11. Later in the week, I will be emailing you the “Hearts at Home” worship resource for you to use as you worship at home.
Peace and Love,
